The Toronto Zen Centre offers zazen meditation, sesshins (intensive periods of meditation), chanting services and many other events and practice opportunities. Please check the quarterly and online calendars for the full schedule.
Weekly Sitting Schedule
- Monday Mornings from 7:00-8:00 am
Zazen (45 minutes with bell at 1/2-way point to change posture) followed by chanting.
- Tuesday through Friday Mornings from 6:00-7:15 am
Zazen (60 minutes with bell at 1/2-way point to change posture) followed by chanting.
- Tuesday and Thursday Evenings from 6:45-8:15 pm
Zazen or zazen and chanting. (See calendar for details).
- Sunday Mornings from 9:00-10:30 am
Zazen with teisho.
